Pics from Canada holiday 2018!

My 2018 August holiday in BC and Alberta, Canada (West coast) was LUSH!
It was Autumn and I went on a two week ROAD TRIP in the rocky with friends who live over there. We visited Kootenay, Banff and Glacier national parks as well as Whistler and Squamish (a rock climbing Mecca). It was like living in a national geographic magazine!
On the first day my friends took me to Radium THERMAL POOLS / hot springs and I had an lovely reflexology treatment. All the self care really helped with the jet lag. 

A family of ELKS walked through our campground in Banff, which was a highlight for me. As well as the glacial lakes, rivers, lichen, maple flavoured thick cut bacon (!!), cranberry and protein salads, pulled pork, good kombucha and large  punnets of delicious blackberries, blueberries and raspberries.
We did lots of camping, rock climbing and hiking in enchanted forests, read books and hung out in cool cafes (heaps of my favourite things). I stayed in an converted church which now an amazing guest house in Revelstoke. Canada was heavenly and I recommend going if you ever get the opportunity!

Year of the Earth Dog 2018

According to the Chinese horoscope 2018, the Year of the Earth Dog 2018 is thought to be favourable in financial aspects but may prove difficult with regards to health. 

It's a good year for long term healthy lifestyle changes and the start of new business ventures. 

Find the balance between working, playing hard and making time for self-care, rest and rejuvenation. Read on for more info and to meet my new dog!

ACUPUNCTURE AMBASSADORS OF 2017.
I was treating some of the mum's of these babies with acupuncture and Chinese herbs for natural FERTILITY support, after miscarriage/s, endometriosis affecting fertility, ICSI, donor egg from America (partners sperm), same sex IVF with donor sperm (she got 18 embryos!) and donor sperm for a full power solo mum (an absolute beauty - didn't meet the right man so did it on her own). It's been a beautiful and rewarding journey supporting these strong brave woman and seeing them achieve their dreams.

Some of these Bub pics are from  mum's who came for treatment during their PREGNANCY for different things such as nausea, hip pain. anxiety, hay fever and labour preparation.

There are 100's of pregnant ladies that came through the clinic this year. Its been an honour supporting each one of them and hearing  their unique story.

If you had a baby in 2017 and got acupuncture with me, please send me a pic and I'll add them to the Hall of Fame  ;-)

For woman who are still trying, don't give up - persistence often pays off.

Holiday hours 2017!

I'm getting excited about the holiday season! You can feel it in the air. I'll be here in the Marrickville clinic between Christmas and new years on the 27th and 28th December and then back on the 5th January. 3 Tuesday tips to increase your energy (Qi):


1. Get moving every day! Exercise increases your Qi (life force) and vitality.
2. Eat more nutrient dense foods- veges and protein and always ensure you stay hydrated.
3. DIY acupressure to point Stomach 36 as it boosts your Qi...
Location: four finger widths down from the bottom of your kneecap, along the outer boundary of your shin bone, you will feel a small indent/depression there.
How: Press on either or both leg points, using your thumbs for up to 3 minutes at a time. Take slow deep restorative breaths. Do this daily.

Slowcooked Cincinnati Chilli Recipe- Truly delicious!

It's the season for slow cooked foods.
